The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the new METALUX Neo service building was celebrated with great joy. Numerous guests, including valued colleagues, partners and representatives of the city and the company, came together to celebrate this important moment.
The decision to lay the foundation stone was taken a fortnight ago – a decision that was met with cheer as Building A is almost complete. But METALUX Neo is more than just a single construction project: an innovative centre is being created here that has never existed in this form at the site before. It is therefore all the more fitting that the foundation stone has now been laid for Building B.
Over a year ago, a production facility was still in operation here – today, the future is being shaped at this location. The new service building will be an integral part of the METALUX Neo complex, which epitomises innovation and progress.
The creation of METALUX Neo began with a bold vision that was supported by many committed people. The initial spark came back in 2019, and after numerous plans, variants and rounds of coordination, the idea was finalised in its current form in March 2022. This success is the result of partnership-based cooperation, mutual appreciation and great passion on the part of everyone involved.
Special thanks go to the strong team of specialist planners, especially Ms Ines Schmidt (architect & Managing Director of HEBERGER Immobilien), as well as the dedicated HEBERGER team, who turned the ideas into reality. We would also like to thank and recognise the local representatives and decision-makers – without their support, this ambitious project would not have been possible.
Hendrik del Rosario (Managing Director of METRALUX Metallveredelung GmbH), one of the driving forces behind the project, was recognised for his tireless efforts and passion. His commitment has shaped METALUX Neo and will continue to be of great importance in the future.
The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone was rounded off with a symbolic gesture: A time capsule, the contents of which are known to the METALUX Neo team, was deposited, forming a bridge between the past, present and future. It will find its place a few metres below ground as the new building grows upwards.
The future begins now – METALUX Neo will be a place where innovations are created, people meet and grow together, contacts are made and successes are celebrated. Dieser Grundstein ist nicht nur ein symbolischer Akt, sondern das Fundament für eine vielversprechende Zukunft des Unternehmens.
